Nubuck, the softest of our leathers, has a closely napped finish and a silky feel. It is the leather of choice for rich, bright color, and is recommended for leisure use or in sandals. Surface dirt can be removed with a damp washcloth or brush. To remove shiny marks or more stubborn stains, try Dansko's Suede and Nubuck Block. For maximum water and stain protection, we recommend using Dansko's Suede and Nubuck Spray before wearing.Oiled Nubuck (cognac, charcoal, red, olive, dog-bone, moss) Oiled Nubuck has the same closely napped, silky feel as Nubuck, but with noticeably more oil tanned into the leather.Naturally occurring blemishes are slightly more visible in this tannage and suggest a more rugged appearance.
